Parkinson's does not discriminate. It can attack anyone and has – Pope John Paul II, the great Muhammad Ali, actor Michael J Fox, former Governor General Zelman Cowan, NRL St George & Cronulla great Peter Proven, former Penrith Panthers star Brett Lobb and Mike Leyland of the Leyland Brothers have all been diagnosed with Parkinson’s disease.

You can show your support for research into Parkinson’s disease by competing in the 8th annual Parkinson’s NSW Golf Classic at Sydney’s Monash Country Club on Thursday November 13.

Individual golfers can enter for $215 (ex GST), including a cart, while registration for a foursome of walkers will cost $680 (ex GST). The day will be fun filled with lots of on-course competitions including nearest the pin and long drive as well as a putting competition.

Charity Golf Day-44 Monash Country Club will host the charity golf day

Afterwards enjoy a delicious buffet dinner in the dining room overlooking the golf course and live entertainment. There will be heaps of golf prizes and amazing auction items so don't forget to bring your cheque book.

Your support will assist Parkinson’s NSW in raising awareness and money to fund essential research and support services for people living with Parkinson's, their families and carers.

Proceeds go to the Parkinson's Counselling Service; a vital program that helps take away much of the initial anxiety and uncertainty that confronts people with the disease. Money raised from this event over the years has enabled Parkinson's NSW to add an extra counsellor. People with Parkinson's disease their families and carers can access a counsellor by ringing 1800 644 189 for an appointment.
