Little more than three hours’ drive from Melbourne, Port Fairy Golf Links is fast becoming one of Australia's must play golfing destinations.

Situated at the end of the iconic Great Ocean Road, the club is established on the outskirts of the beautiful and historic Port Fairy; a picturesque coastal fishing township known for its spectacular beaches and cosmopolitan lifestyle.

The Port Fairy Golf Club has been consistently ranked inside Australia’s Top-50 Courses for several years and is presently No.31 in Golf Australia magazine’s rankings. Visitor and green fee traffic is extremely high year round, as the chance to play true links golf on mainland Australia is a rare and unique experience.

Nowhere else in Victoria is golf played so close to the ocean or along dune land of such high quality. A truly wonderful and unique experience will be had by golfers of all abilities.

Even world-renowned golf course architect Tom Doak was so impressed on arrival he tweeted:

“I can't think of a better golf course for $49 (per round) in this day and age."

Being a full member at Port Fairy Golf Club is $680 per annum. This allows all players to join our inclusive community with seven-day a week access to the course and unlimited competition entry for the entire year.

There are Country Memberships available ($520) with the same playing rights as above and Restricted Memberships offering seven-day access to the course for under $10 per week ($450 per annum). Junior Memberships are only $60 per year with junior clinics held weekly throughout the year conducted by PGA Professional – Anthony Warburton.

If you are a seasoned amateur, a weekend warrior or an absolute novice, Port Fairy Golf Club welcomes anyone looking to join our golfing family. Come and see what all the fuss is about.

Former European Tour player, Golf Australia magazine Architecture Editor and course architect Mike Clayton believes a round at Port Fairy “is one of the best value for money rounds in the world.”
