PING’s new G440 K driver is built for golfers who want maximum speed with maximum forgiveness. At the heart of the design is a new 32-gram adjustable back weight that helps deliver PING’s highest-MOI adjustable driver to date, making it their straightest and most stable model yet.
By allowing the back weight to be set in Neutral, Draw or Fade, players can fine-tune their shot shape while still benefiting from outstanding ball speed and stability across the face.
The back weight itself is 4 grams heavier than the fixed weight used in the previous G430 MAX 10K. That extra mass is pushed further to the perimeter of the head, driving the centre of gravity lower and deeper. The result is increased stability, a higher moment of inertia, and improved energy transfer through PING’s fast T9S+ face.
To make that possible, PING has stripped weight out of key areas using its Dual Carbonfly Wrap crown and sole, combined with Free-Hosel Technology. Together they save 3.5 grams from the sole, 1.5 grams from the crown and a further 3 grams from the hosel and heel section. That weight is then repositioned around the perimeter - and into the back weight - boosting forgiveness while keeping ball speed high, even on off-centre strikes.

Sound and feel have also been refined. A composite crown bridge and acoustic ribs in the sole and crown work together to stiffen the structure at impact, dampening unwanted vibration and producing a more solid, muted strike.
The G440 K is built on a cast Ti 811 body with PING’s fastest T9S+ face and features the brand’s largest front-to-back profile, designed to maximise stability and confidence at address. A High Launch (HL) build is also available for players with slower swing speeds, featuring a lighter 28-gram back weight and a longer 46-inch shaft.
Key Technology
Adjustable 32-gram back weight
Three positions - Neutral, Draw and Fade - allow golfers to fine-tune ball flight while delivering PING’s highest-MOI adjustable driver.
Higher MOI through smarter mass placement
The back weight is 4g heavier than the G430 MAX 10K’s fixed weight, which moves the centre of gravity lower and deeper for increased stability and ball speed.
Dual Carbonfly Wrap & Free-Hosel Technology
Weight saved from the crown, sole, and hosel is redistributed around the perimeter of the head, increasing forgiveness and maintaining high ball speed across the face.
Heel-side ball speed retention
Free-Hosel design removes mass from the heel, allowing that part of the face to flex more efficiently at impact.
Improved acoustics and feel
A composite crown bridge and acoustic ribs reduce vibration, delivering a more solid and powerful sound.
Fast, stable construction
A cast Ti 811 body and PING’s T9S+ face sit in the company’s largest front-to-back driver profile.
High Launch option
HL builds feature a lighter 28g back weight and a 46-inch shaft for golfers with slower swing speeds.
