Odyssey has announced the Australian and New Zealand retail launch of its all-new TRTL putter range, featuring four mallet models designed to deliver exceptionally high moment of inertia (MOI), enhanced alignment and improved forward roll.
Designed for stability and forgiveness
The Odyssey TRTL putters feature all-new mallet shapes in a modern, confidence-inspiring design, incorporating new Twin Track enhanced alignment with long, uninterrupted lines.
Every model features the new Ai-Star insert, a dual-layer construction combining urethane and aluminium. The design is engineered to deliver consistent ball speed across the face and improve forward roll while retaining the iconic Odyssey feel.
The putter bodies are crafted from steel and finished in a premium black PVD, while the shell is made from lightweight ABS and the sole or belly is constructed from lightweight aerospace-grade aluminium.
This multi-material construction allows weight to be pushed to the perimeter of the putter head to maximise MOI, providing greater stability and forgiveness.
The dual-layer Ai-Star insert features an aluminium inner layer and a firmer urethane outer striking surface. Combined with a new Forward Roll groove design, which is deeper and more aggressive with a 19-degree slope, the insert is designed to deliver speed consistency across the face, improve forward roll and provide a firmer, responsive feel.
The range also features all-new sole geometry designed to help the putter sit naturally square when placed behind the ball.
Refined rake and camber work together to help the head sole sit flush to the ground and settle into proper alignment, giving players a more confident setup and a more consistent start to every stroke.
Four discrete weights positioned in the corners of the putter head provide further adjustability, allowing golfers to move the centre of gravity towards the front, rear, heel or toe of the head and fine-tune the amount of toe hang.
Already No.1 in Japan and proven on tour
First launched in Japan earlier this year, the TRTL range has already achieved significant success in the market.
The four available TRTL models have continued to be the top four selling models in Japan since launch, helping Odyssey climb above 50 per cent total market share.
The range is also generating interest on tour, helping players improve their putting, including Min Woo Lee and recent LPGA Tour winner Yuna Nishimura, alongside many other non-staffers.
Odyssey says the TRTL is already its most requested putter model on tour, with further uptake expected as the range moves towards its retail launch and into 2027.
The range will be available at retail from Friday, October 30, with four models: S, DB, CH and Max S2S.
The TRTL Crank Hosel (CH), Double Bend (DB) and Slant Neck (S) models will carry a recommended retail price of $549.99 AUD and $649.99 NZD.
The TRTL Max Square 2 Square and TRTL Max Cruiser Double Bend (DB) models will be priced at $649.99 AUD and $749.99 NZD.
