The winner of the 108th PGA Championship will receive $3.69 million, while second place earns $2.214 million and third place pockets $1.394 million. Fourth and fifth place will take home $984,000 and $820,000, respectively.

The purse represents another significant rise in prize money for the PGA Championship, continuing the upward financial trend across professional golf over recent seasons. The major now sits comfortably among the sport’s highest-paying tournaments, alongside the PGA TOUR’s Signature Events and LIV Golf’s lucrative purses.

Players finishing inside the top 10 are guaranteed more than half a million dollars, with 10th place still worth $553,000. Even players outside the top 20 will collect substantial cheques, with 20th place earning $252,230 and 30th receiving $121,750.

Further down the leaderboard, every player making the cut is assured of a sizeable payout. Competitors finishing 50th will earn $47,540, while those finishing 80th will still receive just under $24,000.

The PGA of America also confirmed that any player who misses the cut but returns a completed 36-hole score will receive $4,300. The same figure applies to players who make the cut but fail to complete all 72 holes.
