9:18am: Rose's putt misses and Rory makes it! The Career Slam is complete! A very emotional McIlroy sinks to his knees, 11 years on from his fourth and last major he has number five and a Green Jacket!

9:10am: Rose to go first, lands next to the hole and rolls out to 15 feet. McIlroy! He hits his to four-feet! Drama upon drama here!

9:04am: Extra time! Rose to go first, he hits a perfect drive down the right hand side of 18. Rory's, even better.

8:52am: It slides by, doesn't even touch the cup, we are going to extra holes.

8:49am: McIlroy finds the bunker with his second and leaves himself eight-feet for The Masters.

8:42am: McIlroy finds the fairway. 

8:37am: Aberg's tournament comes to a close with a triple-bogey at the 18th. 

8:33am: He makes it. McIlroy gets to 12-under-par.

8:28am: Rory McIlroy, take a bow. He hits one to three-feet on the 71st hole. He will have that to take a one shot lead going into the final hole of the tournament.

8:17am: Aberg makes a bogey at 17, McIlroy can't convert his birdie putt. DeChambeau does. It appears to be a two horse race, the internationals, Rose and McIlroy.

8:15am: McIlroy hits a fantastic shot into 16, he will have 12-feet for birdie. DeChambeau's equally as good. Rose's putt to tie the lead is GOOD, he gets in the clubhouse at 11-under-par.

8:09am: Rory's eagle slides by but he cleans up the birdie. He regains the lead heading to the par-3 16th.

8:07am: Aberg has a putt for birdie on 17 after hoisting one over the trees. Rose has a long try for birdie on 18 to get in the clubhouse at 11-under.

8:02am: "Rory", chants ring out as McIlroy sticks one to six-feet on 15. WHAT A SHOT, high, hooking and releasing elegantly. He will have that left for eagle.

8:00am: Rose finds the fairway on 18, as does McIlroy on 15. Aberg cleans up for his par on 16. We have a humdinger on our hands.

7:51am: McIlroy bogeys. So does Rose. we have a three-way tie for the lead. McIlroy, Aberg and Rose all at 10-under-par.

7:45am: McIlroy's drive finds the pinestraw on 14 and he misses the green, challenging chip ahead. Rose also misses the green on 17 and has a difficult pitch ahead of him.

7:40am: McIlroy fails to get up and down from the drop zone, and Rose makes his birdie putt on 16, we are all tied up at the top. Shocking stuff at Augusta.

7:32am: Rose makes another birdie on 15 and Rory hits a terrible wedge into the par-5 that finds the water... oh no. This is wide open.

7:25am: Amen corner claims another victim, DeChambeau fails to get up and down at 12, making bogey.

7:20am: Biggest swing of the day, the tee shot at the par-3 12th. McIlroy finds the putting surface while DeChambeau finds the back bunker. 

7:15am: McIlroy can't save his par. DeChambeau makes six, he drops down to a share of fifth at seven-under.

7:10am: Rose makes bogey at 14, the lead is five. But McIlroy does have a testing par putt back at 11.

7:06am: McIlroy's second clings on by the skin of it's teeth on 11, 6 inches from finding the water. DeChambeau, not so lucky. He will be playing his 4th from the drop zone.

6:55am: Club drop from McIlroy on 10 - the hole that brought him to his knees in 2011 - but its good! He has eight feet left for birdie, and he MAKES it. Rory leads by FOUR from Justin Rose who made another birdie at 13, three in a row for the Enlishman at Amen Corner.

6:40am: Rory makes birdie while Bryson's birdie putt slides by. With nine holes left in the tournament McIlroy has a four-shot lead.

6:37am: Rory and Bryson both have great looks at birdie on 9. But there are guys coming for them, Rose making another birdie at 12 to join DeChambeau at nine-under and Aberg doing the same at 10 to get to the same score.

6:30am: Rose holes a bomb on 11 to get to eight-under for the tournament, still right in this. Patrick Reed has birdied four in a row to close out his opening nine. He is also at eight-under for the tournament.

6:25am: Day cleans up his birdie. While DeChambeau and McIlroy trade pars at 8.

6:17am: Jason Day has hit one tight on 9, he has a short putt to go to seven-under. 

6:14am: McIlroy and DeChambeau both find the bunker from the tee at 8.

6:06am: WHAT A SHOT! Rory McIlroy, oh my. After hitting his drive into the trees, McIlroy hoists one to the moon from the pinestraw and nearly hoops it! Bryson hits a beautiful bunker shot and will save par. McIlroy leaves his downhill putt short, much to his surprise.

5:55am: Both men in the final group trade pars on 6. Scottie Scheffler makes a long-range birdie putt on 8 to get to seven-under. Don't count out the World No.1.

5:50am: Day is one-under for his round, and in the collection of players at six-under. He has a great look for birdie on 7 to get to seven-under. 

5:45am: McIlroy makes it, so does DeChambeau. These opening holes have had everything, crazy entertainment and drama. This is why we lone The Masters.

5:45am: McIlroy and DeChambeau have a bit of work left for their respective pars on 5. 

5:35am: Aberg doing things up ahead, he gets to eight-under for the tournament.

5:30am: ANOTHER TWO SHOT SWING. Rory makes his two and Bryson makes bogey. McIlroy has a bigger lead than he started the day with. He is at 12-under, Bryson at nine.

Up ahead, Max Homa is having a good day amid some recent struggles he is two-under for the day and five-under for the tournament. Rose has made another birdie on 7.

5:25am: McIlroy hits an absolute seed into the par-3 4th, he will have a great look at birdie. DeChambeau misses long left, more drama.

5:20am: Another two-shot swing! Rory makes his birdie, Bryson three-putts for bogey. The Northern Irishman steals back the lead as chants of "Rory" echo around Augusta.

5:15am: DeChambeau safely aboard the green, McIlroy with some delicate touch after driving it just short of the green, he has a fantastic look for birdie but he will have to follow DeChambeau.

5:05am: BRYSON TAKES THE LEAD. He makes his birdie putt on 2 and looks right up for this. McIlroy a shot back.

5:00am: DeChambeau has some work left for his birdie on the par-5 2nd, McIlroy hits an ordinary wedge and makes a comfy five.

4:55am: McIlroy finds another fairway bunker, Dechambeau is in the fairway... At 3, Aberg has a putt to get to eight-under and only two shots off the lead.,

4:45am: McIlroy makes double on 1. DeChambeau gets up-and-down for par they are now tied for the lead at 10-under-par.

4:40am: Rose makes another birdie to get to seven-under. Day's flop shot on 2 fails to make the putting surface. McIlroy has a tough putt for par on the 1st, DeChambeau has six-feet for par.

4:35am: McIlroy leaves his drive in the fairway bunker and has an awkward stance on 1 and DeChambeau misses left to find the pinestraw. Both men take their medicine and will be hitting their third from the fairway. 

4:30am: Aberg converts his birdie, Day doesn't. Zach Johnson rolls in an eagle on 2 for the second day in a row. He is five-under for the tournament.

4:25am: Over on 9 Jon Rahm slides his birdie putt by, after looking out of sorts all week the Spainard in two-under for his round and the tournament. 

Corey Conners and Patrick Reed tee off the 1st. Only Bryson DeChambeau and Rory McIlroy left on the range, this is already shaping up to be one of the greats.

4:20am: Day has a great look for birdie on 1, as does Aberg. World No.1 Scottie Scheffler parred his opening hole with a neat up and down.   

4:15am: Justin Rose birdies his opening hole of the day to get to six-under-par for the tournament. Queensland's Jason Day is on the tee at 1 alongside Sweden's Ludvig Aberg.

4:10am: Good Morning and welcome back to Golf Australia's weekend live blog of The Masters. Min Woo Lee's Masters has come to a close, a final round 74 seeing the Perth native finish the tournament at six-over-par.
