Designed by Graham Marsh, the club’s par-72 course and modern clubhouse took three years to construct and the first rounds were played in June 2015. In the years since, its reputation as a fine test of golf and the quality of its playing surfaces has grown.

Marsh created a layout which appeals as a challenge for players of all standards, while the playing surfaces, in particular, the Bermuda Tifeagle greens are superb. Marsh’s green contouring and variety of shapes have been complemented by the smooth rolling surfaces and are a lot of fun to putt on.

The course is also a wildlife sanctuary with almost 100 species of birdlife and the odd kangaroo.

Maroochy River has much to recommend it, with membership delivering access to an outstanding array of new facilities making it the club of choice on the Sunshine Coast.

The Top-100 Courses ranked layout aside, the wonderful modern clubhouse is a great place to relax, with stunning views out to Mt Coolum while a team of hardworking and conscientious staff are dedicated to your service.

The club has a forward thinking Board and management who have created strategic and operation plans to ensure the continual improvement of the course and accompanying facilities. The club is financially secure with no debt.

The club has reciprocal agreements with 27 clubs in Australia and New Zealand where our members get discounted rates to play. There are also full reciprocal agreements with five premier clubs in Australia where members can play free of charge.

There are many benefits to be enjoyed by becoming a member, including, for golfing members, a generous ten percent discount on food and beverage in the clubhouse and for social members a five percent discount on food and beverage in the clubhouse.
