Fans knew him as one of the game's greatest ever players who could find trouble on a golf course and delight fans with his Houdini-like escapes.

But Seve Ballesteros's story was more than just escape shots. He inspired generation of golfers, right up until his death in 2011. His story is now being told in a film by Stephen Evans, the award-winning British producer of The Madness of King George.

The movie, simply called Seve, focuses on his formative years and also includes actual footage of the maestro on and off the course.
