The Frenchman, who secured at place in the US Open at Winged Foot with his win, led the field in GIR, hitting nearly 90 percent of greens for the week, having recently put TaylorMade’s P7MC irons in play that pay tribute to older models with the cavity design. The new model clearly suiting Langasque, who relies on feel heavily during the fitting process.
  • The 25-year-old recently switched to the SIM driver from the more forgiving SIM Max and found nearly 20 percent more fairways this week than his season average. His win giving TaylorMade drivers a fifth win on the European Tour since its return and a double win weekend on the two biggest men’s circuits in world golf.
  • Closing with a round of 65 on Sunday at Celtic Manor, Langasque was also part of a big week for TaylorMade’s TP5X golf balls, that was also in the bag of PGA Tour winner Dustin Johnson.
