Available at retail from August 21, the Quantum Mini Spinner has been engineered with a compact, deep profile and optimised for higher spin to deliver the stopping power and precision golfers can often struggle to achieve with traditional fairway woods or hybrids. Designed to bridge the gap between woods and irons, it provides greater control on approach shots and improved ability to hold greens.

The Mini Spinner has already been released in Japan, where it has become the country's No.1 selling fairway wood model.

"We really feel like we've created a new category here with a product that's going to solve a problem for a wide range of players," said Jacob Davidson, Callaway VP of Global Product Strategy. "We refer to the Quantum Mini Spinner as the Scoring Wood. It's a new option in the top of the bag, for players who want the launch of a high lofted fairway wood and a steeper descent angle and more spin for greater stopping power."

The club combines a high centre of gravity with an Ai-optimised high-spin face design to promote increased spin, enhanced stopping power and tighter dispersion for more controlled approach shots.

It also features a playing length 0.75 inches shorter than a traditional fairway wood to encourage more consistent impact and improved control through the hitting zone. A taller face profile provides additional confidence and versatility, offering more usable face area for improved contact, particularly from the rough.

Refined specifically for the Mini Spinner, the Step Sole minimises turf interaction to promote cleaner strikes and more consistent centre-face contact. In the 7-wood and 9-wood models, a lightweight carbon sole allows mass to be repositioned higher in the head, raising the centre of gravity to generate additional spin and enhanced control.

"We wanted something that was a little bit more repeatable, a little bit more consistent," said Evan Gibbs, Senior R&D Director – Woods. "And the way that this club sets up with a shorter length, it's more approachable. Impact locations are going to be a lot more consistent. Players are going to tend to hit a little bit more down on it and feel that they can do that with a deeper face. The big performance difference is going to be the increased spin rate, which is going to provide more consistency and less roll out when it lands on the green."

The Quantum Mini Spinner is available in 7-wood, 9-wood and 11-wood lofts in right-hand models only. For more information, visit callawaygolf.com.au.
