FINAL LEADERBOARD

EQUIPMENT NOTES:

  • Cantlay is one of the 'stick with what works' gang when it comes to his equipment on Tour. The American's driver is set to be replaced for the second time as Titleist's top model driver family. The TS3 he favours was part of the brand's 'Speed Project' and was released in 2019. Cantlay used the driver to average 323 yards this week, and rank 14th for driving accuracy.
  • The 30-year-old had strong numbers in all areas of the game in Delaware, with his consistent iron play leading to plenty of birdie chances. Again Cantlay plays an older model, the 718 AP2 irons released at retail in late 2017. Uniquely, the second seed in the FedExCup standings with one event to play uses a lightweight shaft not commonly seen on Tour. He also uses standard Dynamic Gold S300 shafts in wedges, with the SM9 sand and lob wedges the newest models in his bag.

  • Cantlay’s win is his eighth on the PGA Tour, and gives Titleist golf balls 28 wins from 36 events so far in 2022 on the circuit.

QUOTE: "I think I'm very competitive, and I always have been. It definitely grinds my gears if I don't win, and I'll do everything I possibly can to win.” – Patrick Cantlay.
