EQUIPMENT NOTES:
- The second-straight Spanish winner on the European Tour, Larrazabal relied on his strong ball-striking and putting to get the job done in South Africa last week. Over each of the first three days, the 36-year-old hit more than 80 percent of greens in regulation, including 94.4 percent during second round, while his 29 putts on Sunday helped deliver his fifth European Tour win.
- Larrazabal uses Callaway’s Chrome Soft X golf ball with ‘Triple Track’ alignment technology – a system utilising ‘Vernier Hyper Acuity’ and inspired by aircraft carriers, that first appeared on the company’s ERC Soft golf balls and has been used by Phil Mickelson and Dylan Frittelli to claim PGA Tour wins in 2019.
