EQUIPMENT NOTES:
- Lee joins sister Minjee as a winner of the unique Vic Open, the younger sibling relying on his powerful driving to setup his maiden professional victory. Lee currently ranks second on the European Tour for driving distance – a statistic he topped last year – averaging 340.42 yards per drive. The 21-year-old has yet to transition into Callaway’s latest MAVRIK model, continuing to use a 9˚ Epic Flash driver launched last year fitted with the same shaft model used by Tiger Woods.
- Not one to regular change the majority of clubs in his bag, Lee does have a tendency to experiment with putters and the latest option, the recently released Odyssey Stroke Lab Black 10 appears to be working, Lee ranking first for putting average for the week at 13th Beach, where he made just five bogies for the week, averaging 25 putts per round with the mallet model with a slant neck offering slight toe hang.

QUOTE: “I impressed myself with the game this whole week. So hopefully more of them (wins) over the next - my whole career, hopefully.” – Min Woo Lee.
