FINAL LEADERBOARD

EQUIPMENT NOTES:

  • Kokrak put on an absolute ball striking clinic around Colonial for the week, leading the field in driving distance, ranking fifth in driving distance and second in greens in regulation. The 36-year-old still opts for the older SIM driver from TaylorMade rather than this year’s updated SIM2, his driver fitted with a rare Accra shaft on the PGA Tour. The shaft company once among the most popular on the world’s biggest circuit. Kokrak is also among the growing number of PGA Tour players to carry a 7-wood in their bag, the high lofted wood used to hit soaring approaches into greens and controlled tee shots. The CJ Cup winner adding his 7-wood recently having previously carried a 3-iron matching the rest of his iron setup, including during his win in Las Vegas in October.
  • Kokrak’s iron model is the fourth generation of PXG’s Tour model, the company’s irons having some solid success this year on the PGA Tour, and a new model for him. Kokrak previously using the second generation iron. Utilising weighted screws to dial in the best weight placement for each player, Kokrak's 0311 T Gen4 were responsible for hitting 75 percent of the greens at Colonial for the week, including missing just one green in regulation during Saturday’s third round.

  • Now a two-time PGA Tour winner, Kokrak gives Titleist golf balls a 16th win from 23 events played on the PGA Tour this year, with the brand also achieving a clean sweep of the world’s major Tours this week.

QUOTE: “It's very special, to put my name on that wall with so many greats, there's been so many championships here. It's an unbelievable golf course. It's always in the best shape.” – Jason Kokrak.
