All signs are pointing towards Tiger Woods playing in the Masters for the 26th time in his career.
Woods, who has won the Masters five times, was seen practicing at Augusta National Golf Club after flying in from Florida on Sunday (Monday AEST).
He was with his caddie, Lance Bennett, who worked with Woods at the Genesis Invitational in February.
Will Zalatoris, who played nine holes of practice with Woods, gave him a glowing reference.
"He played great today. He outdrove me a couple times so there was some chirping going on. So, you know, he looks great. He's moving as well as he can be," Zalatoris said.
"With everything he's gone through, it's pretty amazing to see how good he's swinging it."
Woods can make history this year, as he is going for his 24th straight made cut at the Masters. He currently shares the record of 23 consecutive made cuts with Gary Player and Fred Couples, a mark he reached in 2023 before withdrawing ahead of the third round due to plantar fasciitis.
Asked if the prospect of Woods making a 24th straight cut "blew his mind", Zalatoris said: "It's just everything the guy has done.
"You could just sit there and analyse the same stats for his entire career and put him in five different buckets and every one of them is never going to be broken.
Spain's Jon Rahm will defend his green jacket, which Woods last won in 2019 to go with victories in 1997, 2001, 2002 and 2005.
