The third generation of TaylorMade’s TP Collection putters feature a throwback naturally tarnishing patina finish and a new iteration of the company’s ‘Pure Roll’ insert. The combination matching classic looks with modern performance and feel.
Offered in seven headshapes from classic blades to modern, high-MOI mallets, the TP Patina Putter Collection combines black nickel and copper properties to achieve its unique look.
To improve upon the popular Pure Roll insert that is used on Tour by Jason Day, Dustin Johnson, Rory McIlroy and many more, TaylorMade thickened the insert made of aluminium, which also features 45˚ grooves to improve forward roll off the face.
Further enhancing the feel of the new range is a new system for securing the updated insert in place in each putter head. TaylorMade utilising what it calls “TP screws” for the first time to lock the insert in place, the new method minimising voids and air pockets beneath the insert.
Each model in the range is named for locations of some of the world’s greatest golf destinations and historic courses and features the new TP adjustable weight system. Sole weights ranging from 2.5-20 grams, which are also available for sale separately, used to dial in precise swing weights.
