Organised by Jinndi Mibunn - an Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander not-for-profit organisation operating as Beenleigh Housing and Community Development - the event serves as both a fundraiser and a platform for community connection. Proceeds will directly support the organisation’s culturally focused programs, which span housing assistance, school partnerships, and broader community development initiatives.

Jinndi Mibunn CEO Will Davis OAM said the return of the golf day comes at a time when fostering unity is more important than ever.

“Many things have changed in the few years between our last Golf Day; the world seems a bit more divisive, but we are committed to serving and building a better community between Indigenous and non-Indigenous Australians,” Davis said.

The event will be played as a four-person Ambrose, with a 7:45am shotgun start following a 7:00am assembly. Entry is priced at $600 per team, with sponsored holes available for $1,000, including team entry.

Participants will receive a full day’s hospitality, including green fees, shared buggies, a bacon and egg burger on arrival, and a buffet lunch. On-course competitions and post-round activities will feature prizes for best team score, nearest-to-the-pin and more, alongside raffles designed to further support Jinndi Mibunn’s work.

Davis said the day is designed to bring people together in a relaxed and inclusive setting.

“In this current climate that sometimes can divide, let’s get together and share in a day of community, connection, and golf,” he said.

Funds raised from the event will be reinvested into Jinndi Mibunn’s ongoing efforts to deliver holistic, culturally appropriate programs that promote healing, empowerment and long-term community strength.
