PGA Tour members Mito Pereira and Sebastian Munoz have been named as the latest players to move to the controversial Saudi-funded LIV Golf circuit.
Pereira and Munoz were added to the 2023 team rosters on Wednesday and placed on Torque GC, the quartet captained by Joaquin Niemann, of Chile. Former Arizona State star David Puig also on the roster.
Pereira, a 27-year-old Chilean, is 46th in the world rankings. He's considered a rising star of the PGA Tour, but is best known for failing to hold a one-shot lead on the final hole of the PGA Championship in May.
Pereira's name was tied to LIV rumours around the Tour Championship last August, but he remained with the PGA Tour and competed for the International Team in the Presidents Cup.
Munoz, a 30-year-old from Colombia, won the 2019 Sanderson Farms Championship. He also joined Pereria on the International team and is ranked No.96 in the world.
