Germany's Yannik Paul has birdied the final hole to win his first DP World Tour title after an extraordinary finish to the Mallorca Golf Open.
But New Zealand's Ryan Fox missed out on a chance of a third title of the year as he had to settle for joint-fourth place after a disappointing final round on Sunday.
Germany's Paul took a share of the lead with Fox into the final round at Son Muntaner Golf Club, but covered his first 15 holes in two-over-par to fall two shots behind England's Marcus Armitage.
However, Armitage then three-putted the 16th and sliced his tee shot out of bounds on the next, where Paul's hooked drive almost suffered the same fate but finished up against a stone wall.
The 28-year-old German was able to take a free drop due to standing on an adjacent cart path and made par, while Armitage ran up a double-bogey seven and also bogeyed the last.
"It was tough today. But I couldn't have dreamed of a better ending. I'm over the moon." - Yannik Paul.
With Paul Waring and Nicolai von Dellingshausen in the clubhouse on 14-under-par, a play-off looked on the cards, but Paul holed from 15 feet on the last to secure the win with a closing 72, 10 shots more than he needed in round three.
"It was tough today," Paul told Sky Sports. "But I couldn't have dreamed of a better ending. I'm over the moon.
"My ball-striking was unbelievable all week. I hit it really close the first couple of holes and couldn't make any putts so that was really hard to stay in the moment.
Fox never really got going after a double bogey six at the opening hole put him straight out of his stride and he was four-over for his round after just six holes.

The Aucklander tried to fight back but ended with a 74 which meant he was always on the fringes of the fight for the title.
Still, though, his fourth-placed finish put him into second place behind Rory McIlroy in the Tour's rankings to find the season's best player in Europe.
Veteran Scott Hend was the best of the Aussie contingent finishing in a share of 11th at 10-under after a final round 67, while Maverick Antcliff was at one-over in a tie for 70th.
