Following on from last week’s introduction of the new Titleist T100, 620 MB and 620 CB irons at last week’s US Open, the company’s T200 and T300 models are making their Tour debut this week.
As part of the seeding and validation process with the world’s best players that the company describes as “a critical step in the development of all high performance Titleist golf equipment” Tour representatives will fit players into the new models.
Details about the new models beginning the seeding process at the Travelers Championship remain limited, but both the T200 and T300 are cavity back designs, with the T200 featuring a screw in the cavity labelled max impact.
The latest iron additions come on the back of Titleist unveiling TS2 and TS3 hybrids and U-500 and U-510 utility irons at the Memorial Tournament last month.
Queenslander Cameron Smith immediately put a set of T100 irons in play at the year’s third major championship.
