The T24 wedges – which made a subtle debut at The Open Championship – are Grain Flow Forged to ensure precise shaping and an unrivalled touch around the green.

They also now feature higher spinning Quadcut+ grooves as well as Mizuno's HydroFlow Micro grooves, which are laser etched to release moisture and reduce spin drop-off in wet weather.

The T24 wedges come in five unique sole profiles which are:

S – High bounce with limited relief for full shots.

D – Mid bounce with moderate relief for gentle manipulation.

C –Mid / high bounce with generous relief for across a wide range of players and/or conditions.

V – High bounce with aggressive relief for versatility and steeper attack angle.

X – Low bounce with aggressive relief for versatility and shallow attack angle.

“The new Quadcut+ grooves came from the realisation that an adjustment to the camber of the groove shoulder and the taper of the groove profile would create an opportunity to move our grooves closer together – resulting in more spin,” Mizuno director of R&D David Llewellyn said.

One-piece Grain Flow Forged in Hiroshima, Japan – where Mizuno irons have been produced since 1968 – craftsmen have refined the topline. Mass has been taken from the toe portion, and a lower hosel blend creates a smaller profile without loss of effective hitting area.

These wedges come in three finish options – Soft White Satin (with copper underlay), Denim Copper and Tour Raw.

RRP: $339 each. All grinds and finishes available in right-hand models. Left hand models in White Satin finish only.
