Minjee Lee's third major in a resurgent LPGA season has earned her a record fourth Greg Norman Medal.
The Australian ace held off Grace Kim to again claim the country's top golfing honour, to go with her 2018 and 2023 efforts, at Tuesday's PGA Awards in Brisbane.
Jason Day (2015, 2016) and Cameron Smith (2020, 2022) are the only other multiple winners of the honour, introduced in 2015.
In June, Lee became the fourth Australian with at least three major titles when she won the Women's PGA Championship in Texas.
Now back to No.4 in the world, her stellar campaign comes after she suffered putting yips in 2024 as a 19-month title drought dropped her outside the world's top 20 for the first time in a decade.
Lee's coach Ritchie Smith, who also mentors her younger brother Min Woo and 2023 Medal winner Hannah Green, defended his coach of the year title, an award he's now won four times.
Lee, 29, won the top gong from Kim, who won her maiden major in a playoff for the Evian Championship a month after Lee's breakthrough.
Their successes marked the first time two Australians had won majors in the same year since 2006, when Karrie Webb and Geoff Ogilvy triumphed.
"It has been an extremely satisfying year personally and for the fantastic team around me, and I am thrilled to receive the Greg Norman Medal," Lee said.
"Winning another major was obviously a highlight this year, but watching Grace win her first at Evian was certainly another moment to remember. "I have no doubt she will be nominated for plenty more awards like this one for years to come."
Lee, Kim, Green and Steph Kyriacou also combined to win the biennial International Crown for Australia in South Korea last month.
"(That) was another high point of a great year, and shows the strength of Australian women on the world stage," Lee said. "I want to thank everyone in my team for the support and guidance they have given me these past 12 months, all the Aussie fans who follow us each and every week, and the PGA of Australia for this prestigious honour."
The event preceded Thursday's first round of the Australian PGA Championship at Royal Queensland.
The field includes local hopes Min Woo Lee, Smith, Adam Scott, Marc Leishman and Cam Davis, New Zealand's two-time PGA Tour winner Ryan Fox, LIV Golf stars Joaquin Niemann and Abraham Ancer and European fancies Marco Penge and Rasmus Neergard-Petersen.
Attention then turns to Royal Melbourne's Australian Open next month, where reigning Masters champion and career grand slam winner Rory McIlroy will headline.
