Featuring a hollow-body construction inspired by a hybrid design, combined with a more traditional iron face and topline, the T-RAIL irons incorporate a lower, deeper centre of gravity (CG) than cavity back models to increase launch and tighten dispersion.

For the first time in an iron, Cobra’s ‘Baffler Rails’ are located on the sole to improve turf interaction and provide stability at impact, while the high-strength, forged steel face with the company’s ‘E9 Technology’ also utilises a thin pocket to increase ball speed and distance from heel to toe.

Offered in men’s and women’s, the T-RAIL irons combine with hybrid models of the same name and design offering, more forgiveness, launch and precise gapping in the longer irons.

“T-RAIL irons make it easy for beginners and golfers who have lost some distance and control to gain the confidence needed to play better and have more fun,” VP of R&D for COBRA Golf Tom Olsavsky said. “Players who need max forgiveness and are looking for more distance will be amazed at how far and straight they hit these, even being able to get them airborne from tough lies.”

The T-RAIL irons and hybrids will be available around Australia beginning November 1.

RRP: $269 (hybrid); $199 (per iron).
