Seven amateurs added to US Open field
The United States Golf Association (USGA) today announced that seven amateurs have earned entry into the 120th US Open Championship, which will be hosted by Winged Foot Golf Club on September 17-20.

US Amateur: Aussie Trent advances in match play
The lone Australian to make the match play at the US Amateur advanced to the round of 32 today. Queensland’s Jack Trent defeating Florida’s Jackson Suber 3 & 2, while injured compatriot Karl Vilips’ time as a caddie will continue as others look to secure US Open spots.

The Preview: US Amateur Championship
The 120th US Amateur will be played from August 10-16 at Bandon Dunes Golf Resort in Oregon, where Jack Trent, Lukas Michel and Lachlan Barker will fly the flag for Australia.

Ogletree stuns Augenstein to claim US Amateur crown
After trailing for a majority of the 36-hole championship match, Andy Ogletree surged past John Augenstein, winning four of the last seven holes to claim the 119th US Amateur Championship title, 2 and 1, at Pinehurst Resort & Country Club.

US Amateur: Augenstein storms into quarterfinals
John Augenstein, 21, of Owensboro, Ky., posted victories over Akshay Bhatia and Ricky Castillo, the No.5 and No.9 players in the World Amateur Golf Ranking (WAGR), respectively, on Thursday to advance to the quarterfinals of the 119th US Amateur Championship at Pinehurst Resort & Country Club.
