Jarrod Lyle makes a habit of making holes-in-one. He was at it again in the opening round of the Australian PGA Championship.
There was not a long wait into the Victorian’s round, when he holed his tee-shot on the 5th hole with a 7-iron from 164 metres. The ball bounced just short of the putting surface, took two bounces before rolling at perfect speed into the cup.
Last year, he made two holes-in-one at a Melbourne charity golf day while hitting tee shots for each group.
LYLE'S 2011 WASTE MANAGEMENT PHOENIX OPEN ACE
Of course, Lyle’s most famous hole-in-one was on the PGA Tour in 2011 when he holed out at the iconic 16th ‘stadium’ hole of the Phoenix Open. That ace was witnessed by 20,000 screaming golf fans.
