Queenslander Scott Hend cemented his status as the most successful international golfer on the Asian Tour after claiming his 10th victory and first in three years at the US$3 million Maybank Championship on Sunday.

American Kirk Triplett and Thailand's Thaworn Wiratchant have both shot seven-under 65 to lead the Senior Open by one stroke after the opening round. But both will be keeping a close eye on defending champion Bernhard Langer.
