Saudis subpoenaed for documents on LIV-PGA merger
The chairman of a U.S Senate investigations subcommittee has issued a subpoena for documents on Saudi Arabia's new golf partnership with the PGA Tour, saying the kingdom needed to be more transparent about what he said was its $US35 billion ($A55 billion) in investments in the United States.

U.S Justice Department to investigate merger
The U.S Justice Department will review the PGA Tour's plan to merge with Saudi-backed golf interests, including LIV Golf, to determine if it violates antitrust law, the Wall Street Journal has reported.

U.S senators call for further PGA Tour-LIV investigation
U.S senators Elizabeth Warren and Ron Wyden have asked the Justice Department to open an antitrust investigation into the planned deal between the PGA Tour and Saudi-backed LIV Golf, saying they believe it would result in a monopoly over professional golf operations.
