The field for the 2026 women’s Australian Open continues to strengthen, with a host of homegrown stars confirmed to tee it up at Kooyonga Golf Club in Adelaide from March 12–15.
Co-sanctioned by the WPGA Tour of Australasia and the Ladies European Tour (LET), Australia’s national Open will showcase a powerful blend of established champions, rising stars and international performers flying the Australian flag.
Headlining the latest wave of entries are LPGA Tour members Cassie Porter, Karis Davidson and Sarah Kemp, who will join fellow LPGA stars Minjee Lee, Hannah Green, Grace Kim and Steph Kyriacou in the race to win the Patricia Bridges Bowl.
They will be joined by LET members Kelsey Bennett, Maddy Hinson-Tolchard, Justice Bosio, Kirsten Rudgeley and Steph Bunque, underlining the depth of Australian talent competing across Europe.
The list of Australian starters also features the current Australian WPGA Championship titleholder Su Oh.
WPGA Tour of Australasia CEO Karen Lunn said the strength of the Australian contingent highlights the depth and global impact of the current list of Aussie players.
“To see so many Australians choosing to return home to compete in our national Open speaks volumes about the standing of this event,” Lunn said.
“From major champions to emerging LET and LPGA stars, this field reflects the strength, depth and international success of Australian women’s golf.
“Kooyonga will provide a superb stage for our players to showcase their talent in front of home fans.”
Golf Australia CEO James Sutherland said the calibre of players confirmed reinforced the event’s status as one of the premier events on the global calendar.
“The women’s Australian Open continues to attract the very best of Australian talent competing around the world,” Sutherland said.
“Having players the calibre of Minjee, Hannah, Grace and Steph, alongside an outstanding group of LET and LPGA professionals, ensures fans will witness world-class golf in Adelaide. We are proud to see our national Open continue to grow in stature and provide a platform for both established stars and the next generation.”
