Sergio Garcia claimed his first PGA Tour victory since winning the 2017 Masters, by making birdie on the 72nd hole to capture the Sanderson Farms event in Mississippi. Here's the gear he had in the bag.
WINNING SCORE: 19 under, 269.
EQUIPMENT CHOICE:
DRIVER: TaylorMade SIM 9˚ loft, fitted with Fujikura Ventus Black 7X shaft.
3 WOOD: TaylorMade SIM 14˚loft, with Fujikura Ventus Black 7X shaft.
5 WOOD: TaylorMade SIM 18˚loft, with Fujikura Ventus Black 8X shaft.
IRONS: PING Blurprint (3-iron to pitching wedge) all with Nippon N.S. Pro Modus3 Tour 130X shafts.
WEDGES: Titleist Vokey SM8 (52˚and 58˚ lofts) with Nippon N.S. Pro Modus3 Tour 130X shafts.
PUTTER: TaylorMade Spider X.
BALL: TaylorMade TP5.
EQUIPMENT NOTES:
Garcia’s win came courtesy of a great ball-striking week with his PING Blueprint irons.
While he only found 50 percent of the fairways at the Country Club of Jackson, he hit 77.78 per cent of green in regulation. Combined with a solid putting performance, Sergio only carded five bogies in the 72 holes.

He has switched different clubs in and out of the bag this year, settling on the TaylorMade SIM driver and Titleist Vokey SM8 wedges for his drought-breaking victory in Mississippi.
QUOTE: “It's obviously a boost of confidence, there's no doubt. Even if I would have not won it, it still would have been a massive high for me this week. To be able to do a lot of the things that I did, it meant a lot. It showed me a lot of what I still have, and what I still can do.” – Sergio Garcia
