- The Dane, who at 18 became the second youngest winner in European Tour history, delivered TaylorMade's M5 and M6 drivers their 21st win around the world in Mauritius.
- Hojgaard relied largely on his ball-striking to deliver his maiden Tour win, hitting over 70 percent of greens in regulation with his full bag of TaylorMade equipment, that included the TP5 family of golf balls that was also used by Jon Rahm to win in Dubai just two weeks earlier.
