Having gone without an equipment contract after departing Callaway’s Tour staff before winning The Masters in 2018, Reed partnered up with Grindworks, a custom iron company that produces a model bearing his initials. Reed’s irons are a fairly classic muscle-back blade model, while he also continues to carry one Artisan wedge another custom company that produces equipment out of a former Nike Golf factory in Texas.
Reed’s win is the third for Titleist’s Pro V1 range of golf balls from four PGA Tour events so far in 2020, and one of three wins for the brand across this past weekend, Titleist balls used to win on the PGA Tour, European Tour and PGA Tour of Australasia.
