FINAL LEADERBOARD

EQUIPMENT NOTES:

  • The 39-year-old’s triumph came in the first European Tour event since the circuit shut down due to the Coronavirus pandemic, the event co-sanctioned with the secondary Challenge Tour. Warren, who is typically a strong putter, relied on his Odyssey flatstick that dates back to 2014 to secure a one shot win over Germany’s Marcel Schneider.
  • A former World Cup of Golf winner and runner-up alongside Scottish legend Colin Montgomerie, Warren’s full bag of Callaway equipment includes a mixture of the newest and slightly older models, while the shafts in his woods are all designed to help achieve a higher ball flight.
  • Like Phil Mickelson and numerous other Tour pros, Warren uses Callaway’s Chrome Soft X golf ball with Triple Track technology. The three coloured lines on the ball taking inspiration from aircraft carriers and offering improved alignment, particularly when putting.

QUOTE: “It’s been different (playing without a caddie), the first time since 2005 – so 15 years. Hopefully this is the one and only time, no matter what I say, I do enjoy the caddie’s company. Especially on days like yesterday. – Marc Warren.
