EQUIPMENT NOTES

  • Lee Westwood has had an affiliation with PING dating back to his teens in the 1980s. The Englishman has won twice since re-signing another multi-year agreement with PING in early 2018.
  • Westwood used the Titleist Pro V1x to win in Abu Dhabi, which was his 25th European Tour title and he became just the third European Tour player with a win in four different decades. The victory also marked his 44th worldwide win on professional tours, which have all been accomplished with a Titleist ball.
