FINAL LEADERBOARD

EQUIPMENT NOTES:

  • One of the best putters on the European Tour this year, Bezuidenhout’s approach play was the key this week. The South African leading the field in Strokes Gained: Approach. The three-time winner on Tour uses an older model of Callaway’s X Forged irons that remain a popular choice with the best players in the world and amateurs alike, and a model that will likely be hard to remove from the rising star’s bag in the near future.
  • Now ranked .35th on the world rankings, Bezuidenhout’s putting deserves plenty of attention. Utilising a small mallet model, he opts for a Two Thumb grip that was one of the early oversized putter grips on the market and is used by a number of his fellow players in Europe, including Bernd Wiesberger.
  • Bezuidenhout’s win was part of a double for Titleist golf balls, with Antoine Rozner also using the brand’s Pro V1 range of balls to claim victory in Dubai.
