From an early age Nicolas Colsaerts knew he was good. Not in a cocky way, just an acknowledgement he could do things with a golf ball others couldn’t.
The Belgian will shortly turn 40, some 22 years on from turning professional on his 18th birthday. Three days later he won his European Tour card at Q-School and has notched up 10 Tour victories since. He’s represented Belgium at the World Cup three times and was on the victorious European Ryder Cup team that defeated the United States in 2012.
But Colsaerts is also well aware there is much more to life than golf and his thoughts on both the game and topics beyond make for fascinating listening in this chat with John Huggan.
