The 2019 Presidents Cup will shine a global spotlight on Dr Alister MacKenzie’s Royal Melbourne masterpiece.
Unlike many in his field Richard Forsyth’s first introduction to golf came on his first day of work as an apprentice greenkeeper.
Today, as the course superintendent at Royal Melbourne, his knowledge of and approach to the game – not to mention understanding the importance of a cathedral of golf – is now second to none.
Here, Forsyth took some time out from his busy pre-event schedule to talk about all things golf, courses, the Cup and his ‘office’.
Listen to our one-on-one chat with Forsyth in Episode #7 of The Thing About Golf podcast.
