Former world No.1 Jon Rahm believes things will get hectic when he tees off with a one shot lead in LIV Golf Adelaide's third round.
The Spanish great is bracing for a boisterous challenge in protecting his halfway lead at The Grange.
Rahm (13 under) holds a one-shot margin from unfancied New Zealander Ben Campbell entering Saturday's third round.
And the former world No.1 is forecasting things are about to get hectic at the sandbelt course in Adelaide's west.
"Tomorrow, I'm assuming, will be the big day, being a Saturday," he said after a stellar nine-under 63 in the second round.
"A little bit of a later tee-off time; it's easier for the crowd to be here on time.
"It's also more time to drink. It will be a little bit louder, a little hotter too ... it's going to be a really fun atmosphere."
Rahm, Campbell and 2023 Adelaide champion Talor Gooch (nine-under) all shot nine under on Friday.
And drawcard Bryson DeChambeau - 11-under after following his opening 66 with a 67 - also predicted an "awesome" atmosphere.
"People are going to be giving me banter, good and bad, and I love it," DeChambeau said.
"This is why I came out to LIV Golf and this [Adelaide] is our star.
"I will give myself a shot this weekend and put some pressure on Jon and hopefully make him feel some pressure coming down the stretch.
"It is going to be a good battle, no matter what."
Lucas Herbert (eight-under) is the best-placed Australian, with Marc Leishman (six-under), Cam Smith (five-under) and Elvis Smylie (three-under) having much work to do in their quest to be the first individual local LIV winner in Adelaide.
The Australian quartet's Ripper GC is one shot behind the team title leaders.
