The new T-Series irons and U-Series utility will be available for Tour players to put in play from Thursday as Titleist utilises the expertise of the best players in the world and their feedback to refine the models before they are released at retail. Expected to be later this year.

“Gathering feedback from the game’s best players through every stage of the R&D process, and then earning their validation under the pressure of competition over the coming weeks and months across the worldwide professional Tours, are critical elements in the development of all high-performance Titleist golf equipment,” says Titleist.

Already the most played iron brand on the PGA Tour for the last seven years, and 16 of the previous 17, Titleist has released few details on the new models that are certain to replace models of the same in the current line-up, while the U•505 could join the existing 500 and 510 models or be a replacement.

The original T100, which replaced the popular AP2, is the most played model on the world’s biggest circuit and utilised multiple materials to blend forgiveness with better player shaping and control.

Members of the company’s Research and Development (R&D) team are on site at TPC River Highlands for the Travelers to assist with fitting players into the best model for them, whilst also gathering their feedback.
