The new KING TEC hybrid features advancements never previously used in the category by the company and offers complete ball flight customisation.

The new model, which arrives at retail around Australia on July 1, is aimed at better players looking for a combination of consistent distance and forgiveness from off the tee and when approaching greens from distance.

Already utilised in the company’s RADSPEED irons, a ‘PWRSHELL’ face design makes its way into a COBRA hybrid for the first time. The forged 455 stainless steel L-cup insert is extremely thin and flexible to deliver increased ball speeds across a larger area of the face and raise launch angles.

To optimise ball flight, a carbon fibre crown saves weight that is then redistributed to lower the centre of gravity (CG). The two primary technologies work together to produce a higher launching flight with lower spin, that uses descent angle to achieve stopping power when approaching greens.

Allowing golfers to customise their KING TEC hybrid to suit their ball flight and setup needs, the new model incorporates an adjustable weight system and hosel design that can change the loft of one head by four degrees, as well as offering draw settings.

The weight system uses three weights in the sole (two 12g and one 2g) which can be moved for a draw, fade or neutral setting, with other weights available when custom ordering for even greater options to dial in your perfect hybrid.

An oversized profile and square leading edge are designed to inspires confidence at address from every lie according to the company.

Offered in three lofts in right handed and one left handed option, the new model comes standard with a “COBRA CONNECT Grip powered by Arccos Caddie’.

RRP: $479.
