Boron Fuel Injected: MP-25 irons
A stunning, Tour-inspired design with an injection of boron for added ball speed and distance, the MP-25 is the first true high ball-speed iron. Grain Flow Forged for the feel and touch that is indispensable on Tour, these suit Tour players through to low-to-mid handicaps.
The first true distance iron for Tour players: The MP-25 is the first to start with a pre-determined Tour-dictated profile and then engineer ball speed, rather than cramming a distance technology into a smaller shell.
New boron-infused steel: A boron-injected steel billet allows the engineering of a Micro-Slot pocket cavity in the 3- to 6-iron for greater ball speeds.
Ultimate feel: Forged in Hiroshima, Japan, at Mizuno’s exclusive plant – the manufacturer of grain forged heads for Mizuno for more than 30 years – these are Grain Flow Forged from a single billet of 1025 boron steel. #nothingfeelslikeamizuno
Precise distance control: Grain Flow Forging compresses and maintains a consistent grain through the neck and hosel, ensuring consistency through every clubhead for predictable distances.
RRP: $209 per iron.
An iron like no other: MP-5
The MP-5 sits neatly between Mizuno’s classic blades and smaller players’ cavities. The Channel Back concept was refined through a harmonisation of CAD design and traditional Japanese craftsmanship. Recommended for professionals to low single-figure handicap players.
Blade-like precision with cavity-level forgiveness: The Channel Back design keeps thickness behind the impact for blade-like feel, but moves enough mass to create stability from off-centre strikes.
Craftsman input: Although larger than a traditional blade, our craftsmen’s sense of proportion and shape ensured that the MP-5 looks right at address. The thicker top line was popular among our panel of professionals in testing – giving “a more powerful look”.
Custom built to your Mizuno Swing DNA: Our Swing DNA system can identify which shaft and set make-up will produce the best results from your swing. Your irons can be assembled and dispatched within five working days of Mizuno receiving your order (location and parts allowing).
RRP: $209 per iron.
Spin a little blue magic: S5 wedges
S5 wedges feature an enticing midsize profile, are Grain Flow Forged with sharply visible sole grinds for imagination and creativity around the green. These were first put in play by short-game master Luke Donald at the BMW Championships at Wentworth. These wedges suit players from professionals to mid-handicap amateurs.
Ultimate feel: Forged in Hiroshima, Japan, at Mizuno’s exclusive plant – the manufacturer of forged heads for Mizuno for more than 30 years – these are Grain Flow Forged from a single billet of 1025E Pure Select mild carbon steel.
Precise distance control: Grain Flow Forging compresses and maintains a consistent grain through the neck and hosel, ensuring consistency through every clubhead for predictable distances.
Blue IP or White Satin: Blue IP is a stunning finish over the standard white satin that will wear without reducing the durability of the plating itself.
RRP: $199 each.
Adjust your expectations: JPX EZ driver
The JPX EZ driver changes everything. With a simple three-weight system, the JPX EZ now allows you to dial-in your launch trajectory while maintaining its design for maximum forgiveness.
Fast Track: Using a ten-gram weight in one of three weight ports (draw, neutral or fade), the JPX EZ offers changes you can instantly notice to dial-in a ball flight.
Massive moment of inertia design: Optimised internal head for weight distribution low and deep in the head delivers extreme forgiveness and high, easy ball flight.
Quick Switch: Adjustability of eight loft settings to dial-in launch angles from 8.5° to 12.5°.
Rebound Crown: The engineered crown area eliminates the stiffer area around the clubface, allowing more flex for greater ball speeds and distance.
RRP: $575.
Give nothing: JPX EZ Forged irons
Injected with boron, the JPX EZ takes Mizuno Grain Flow Forged irons a leap forward in distance and forgiveness. Enjoy the #nothingfeelslikeamizuno moments without being heavily penalised for the odd mis-hit. Ideal for mid- to high-handicappers or professionals who don’t like to practise.
New boron-infused steel: A high-strength boron-infused steel allows the use of a wider CNC Pocket cavity in the 3- to 7-iron to increase the rebound area for increased ball speed and stability from off-centre strikes.
Give distance to no one: All that Mizuno Forged feel without loss of distance. The combination of a CNC Pocket and multi-thickness face (possible through boron) make the JPX EZ the hottest forged iron Mizuno has ever produced.
Forgings can be forgiving: The CNC Pocket cavity, combined with extreme perimeter weighting, means the JPX EZ Forged is as forgiving as you would ever need an iron to be.
RRP: $199 per iron (steel shaft).
The distance iron with feel: JPX EZ irons
The JPX EZ is a ‘point and shoot’ iron with launch monitor-busting ball speeds. It’s also engineered to be the best feeling and most balanced within its class. #nothingfeelslikeamizuno
Point and shoot: With a dual-pocket construction (running 360 degrees inside the cavity frame) and multi-thickness face, the long and mid-irons are as forgiving and easy to launch as anything Mizuno has tested.
Ball speeds off the charts (or at least on the edge): A raft of new technologies, including the dual-pocket cavity (that makes the face flex right to its edges), make the EZ by far the highest COR-measured iron (at 0.85) Mizuno has found.
RRP: $165 per iron (steel shaft).
