MGI has launched the latest incarnation in its family of electric buggies sporting the trusted Navigator model name.
Developed to allow players to walk the course hassle free, the new Navigator – a name which identifies the buggy as being controlled by a full directional remote – is part of the company’s new Zip series featuring the convenient and simple Zip fold system. It is the most feature packed and technologically advanced model in the line.
In addition to the newly-engineered folding system, the Zip Navigator is 12 percent lighter, 25 percent smaller and has quick release rear wheels. All of these features combine to make it easier to move in and out of the car and store without taking up too much space.
Powered by twin calibrated motors and a Lithium 24v 380Wh battery, the Navigator incorporates a three-wheel design including all-terrain tread rear wheels, a swivelling front wheel with suspension and an optional fourth wheel offering added stability.
Downhill speed control ensures the buggy won’t take off when approaching a severe decline but it is MGI’s patented ‘Gyroscope Straight Tracker’ technology which keeps the buggy on track regardless of the course terrain. This takes the Zip Navigator to an unprecedented level of stress free performance.
An efficient 24v electronic system incorporates the company’s new ‘Click and Go’ battery system, adding to the simplicity and lightweight performance of the Zip Navigator, which is also customisable to each individual golfer.
Offered in both white and black, the Zip Navigator’s Ergonomic T-bar handle is height adjustable and MGI offer a range of optional accessories including rain and travel covers, seat and umbrella holder.
RRP: $1,995
