Spain's Pablo Larrazabal has claimed victory over Jordan Smith on the second play-off hole at the MyGolfLife Open at the Pecanwood Country Club in Haartbeespoort, South Africa.
The pair had been locked on 22 under-par along with another Spaniard, Adri Arnaus, after 72 holes, but the latter dropped out of the play-off after the first hole.
England’s Jordan, who carded a 65 on Sunday, found the rough on the second and two-putted to give Larrazabal the chance to claim his sixth win on the DP World Tour and his first since 2019.
South African George Coetzee (64) carded the joint low round of the day to finish alone in fourth on 21-under-par.
Jason Scrivener was the leading Australian with his final round 71 leaving him at seven-under for the tournament in joint 72nd place, four places ahead of Queenslander Maverick Antcliff, who finished at five-under after a 72.
