Callaway today announced the retail launch of Phil Mickelson’s Pebble Beach Pro-Am-winning golf ball; the Chrome Soft X featuring Triple Track Technology, which the company says will “improve alignment and accuracy compared to a regular side stamp alignment aid.”
Triple Track Technology was first seen on the ERC Soft golf balls – which were released in January, 2019 – and employs ‘Vernier Hyper Acuity’ to assist golfers who demand absolute perfection when it comes to alignment.
The ball itself continues to combine Tour-proven performance with unparalleled soft feel and exceptional mis-hit forgiveness. This is largely due to Callaway innovating every layer from its ground-breaking Graphene Dual SoftFast Core to the premium urethane cover.
Players can therefore expect a very fast and soft-feeling golf ball with high launch and low spin off the driver for longer shots … But they will also notice considerable shot-stopping spin with increased control from their irons and wedges.
Chrome Soft X Triple Track Technology will be available in stores across Australia from April 19th, 2019.
RRP: $67.99 (per dozen).
