The Victorian finished at 13-under for the championship after producing an eagle and six birdies in the final round, including a decisive run of three-straight birdies from the 13th hole.

Switzerland’s Carlotta Locatelli finished second at six-under.

With windy conditions testing the field throughout the week, Roberts and Locatelli were the only players to complete all four rounds under par, but the Australian separated herself with a standout display.

Roberts had opened the tournament with a bogey-free five-under 69 before adding a second-round 74 to remain in contention alongside local hope Cherry Marley.

A three-under outward nine in round three helped the Australian Amateur champion edge clear, before the Women’s World Amateur No.37 accelerated away from the field on the final day to add her name to an honour roll which includes fellow Australians Abbie Teasdale and Charley Hull.

“It’s an honour,” Roberts told England Golf media. “I knew Abbie had won a few years ago and we talked about it a little bit, but any win is special.

"I'm very happy; to shoot eight-under is really nice. You have to keep the ball in play, avoid big numbers, and be in the fairway. You also have to take advantage of the par-5s, which I think I did reasonably well. I had a few eagles this week, so that helps.

"I have been playing well the last few weeks, although we haven’t had much tournament golf in Australia. I was excited to get here; it’s a really nice course.”

As a European Amateur Order of Merit (EAOM) event for 2026, Roberts’ victory also secures her a place in an LET Access Series event.

“I had no idea, so yes, that will be special,” she added. “I have the British Am next week, a few events in the U.S, and then maybe look at turning pro after that.”
