Golf Challenge offers a new way to compete via its Play Today app and saw the Junior 6s Tour, the brainchild of former Tour pro turned commentator Ewan Porter, as a natural combination despite no formal details of how the partnership will work at the current time.

“Golf Challenge is proud to be supporting junior golf across Australia and the adidas Junior 6s Tour leads the way in providing pathways and opportunities for junior golfers,” Golf Challenge founder Clive Mayhew said.

With an exciting schedule planned for 2022, including the Tour’s first tournament held overseas at famed New Zealand layout Royal Wellington, the adidas Junior 6s Tour’s addition of a new partner will help Porter and his team continue to grow the series, which has garnered attention from further afield than our pacific neighbours.

“It gives me great pleasure to announce that Golf Challenge will be partnering with the adidas Junior 6s Tour,” Porter said. “Golf Challenge has made a real impact on the golf scene over the past 12 months and has proven to be an effective and innovative way to practice or play the game. We look forward to working closely with Golf Challenge to continue building platforms for our young stars to thrive.”

Having come on board as the title sponsor of the NSW Open in 2021 for the event held at Concord and won by Bryden Macpherson, Golf Challenge will continue in the same capacity with the PGA Tour of Australasia event over the next three years.
