The Meriton Sydney Invitational has returned to harbour city.
Everything about the event will be similar to previous years and, after a one-off move to the Gold Coast, the three round tournament is back in Sydney and will be played in February.
Again played over 54-holes, the Meriton Sydney Invitational has players competing and enjoying three of Sydney’s premier golf courses. In 2016, Terrey Hills Country Club, The Lakes Golf Club and the Greg Norman-designed Stonecutters Ridge will host the event from February 23 to 25.

The event will continue its strong charity theme, with the Gala Charity Dinner held at The Lakes golf club at the conclusion of the event, and all money raised being donated to the Westmead Children’s Hospital.
2016 will again see some of the best and brightest male and female professional golfers compete side-by-side some of Australia’s leading corporate and sporting identities.
Along similar lines as the famous AT&T Pebble Beach Pro-am, Bob Hope Desert Classic, the Las Vegas Invitational and Dunhill Links Championships, the Meriton Sydney Invitational will be a 54-hole, four-person teams event held over three days.
Each team will comprise of a PGA or ALPG Professional and three amateurs. The scoring system will be a four-person team event with the best two nett and gross scores counting on each hole.
The professionals will play for $130,000 in prizemoney and $25,000 worth of amateur prizes and trophies will be on offer over the 3 days, including daily prizes, as well as the 54-hole winner’s trophy and prizes for the nett (main event) and scratch. An individual event will be held in conjunction for professionals and amateurs on each day and overall.
Meriton will be offering everybody a fantastic accommodation deal at any of their Sydney serviced apartments during the week of the tournament.
