Thailand is one of the most popular golf destinations in the world due to its beautifully presented courses, luxury resorts and flawless five-star service.

In May 2014, Golf Australia – in association with tour operators Gimme Golf and GolfAsian – will host our second Readers Tour where you will get the chance to play some of the best courses in Asia, relax in luxurious hotels and make some new golfing friends along the way.

Join either editor Brendan James or deputy editor Steve Keipert for rounds of golf at, among others, the magnificent Plantation course at Siam Country Club, a former host of the Honda LPGA , the acclaimed Jack Nicklaus layout Laem Chabang International as well as the spectacular Banyan Golf Club in Hua Hin, voted the best new course in Asia in 2009, and the links layout Sea Pines where holes offer views across the Gulf of Thailand.

The package includes two nights’ accommodation in Pattaya at the five-star Hilton Hotel in a deluxe sea view room, three nights’ stay in Hua Hin at the five-star Hilton Hotel in a sea view bay room and two nights’ accommodation in a luxurious club room at the Imperial Queen’s Park Hotel in Bangkok. Breakfast is included daily.

Green and caddie fees (one caddie per golfer at each course) are included for all rounds, while a cart (with caddie) is provided at Siam CC and Laem Chabang (compulsory). The package also includes all airport, land and golf course transfers, which will be in a private VIP high-top touring van or coach.

Also, every golfer booking a place on the Readers Tour will receive a two-year subscription to Golf Australia magazine, a Golf Australia golf shirt, a dozen Srixon Z-Star golf balls and a David Leadbetter instruction DVD, all worth $199.

International airfares, airport taxes, drinks, meals and gratuities are excluded from the package.

The package costs $1,660 (per golfer, two share), $2,060 (per golfer individual room) and $975 (non-golfers). A $1,000 deposit is due at the time of booking, with the balance due 30 days prior to arrival.
