The Europeans dominated the final day of the Ryder Cup and they hold court in our image gallery showcasing the best photos of an emotional win

Congratulations to Europe on winning the Ryder Cup for the seventh time in the past eight matches. The Europeans entered the final day with a 10-6 lead and were never headed, led by World No.1 Rory McIlroy and Welshman Jamie Donaldson who inflicted the knockout blow.
