Hannah Green more than justified her billing as the marquee player at the Vic Open, the West Australian claiming a six shot win. Here is what the 25-year-old had in the bag at 13th Beach.
WINNING SCORE: 13-under-par, 276.
EQUIPMENT CHOICE:
DRIVER: Srixon ZX7 with 10.5° loft, fitted with Fujikura Ventus Blue 6R shaft.
3 WOOD: PING G425 with 14.5° loft, with Mitsubishi Chemical Diamana ZF60 S shaft.
5-WOOD: PING G425 with 17.5° loft, with Fujikura Ventus Red 6S shaft.

IRONS: Srixon ZX7 (5-iron to pitching wedge), with Aerotech Steelfiber i80 R shafts.
WEDGES: Cleveland ZipCore (50°-10° MID, 54°-10° MID & 58°-10° MID), with Nippon N.S. Pro 980 DST R shafts.
PUTTER: PING Sigma2 Tyne.
BALL: Srixon Z-STAR Diamond.
EQUIPMENT NOTES:
- Green interestingly mixes flexes throughout her bag. Like many of her fellow Tour players, the West Australian carries wedges with softer flex shafts, but moves from a regular flex driver shaft into stiff fairway woods, then back to regular in her irons.
-
One of the longer players in the women’s game after working to add swing speed over the last few years, Green has a significant gap in her lofts from 5-wood to 5-hybrid, with the stamped lofts adjusted via the hosel to optimise carry distances and remove any yardage gaps.

The 2018 KPMG Women’s PGA champion is a recent convert to the new Srixon Z-STAR Diamond golf ball that was developed as part of Brooks Koepka joining the brand’s Tour staff. Green marking her ball this week with a smiley face, while her nickname ‘Greeny’ is stamped on the side.
