Vincent banked 110 points for his second-place finish, adding to the 180 he claimed at International Series Morocco and a T2 at the Shinhan Donghae Open last month. The haul pushed him ahead of Australian Lucas Herbert, winner of International Series Japan presented by Moutai, to take pole position in the season-long standings.

The 33-year-old is no stranger to the pathway — he topped the inaugural International Series Rankings in 2023 to earn a spot with Iron Heads GC before losing his LIV Golf place at the end of last season. Now, he’s eyeing a swift return.

“I’m trying not to focus too much on that,” Vincent said. “My goal is to keep improving as a player and to worry less about myself and more about others.”

Champion Ormsby vaulted 69 spots to third in the Rankings after collecting 180 points for his Jakarta win — reigniting his season and putting him firmly in the mix for the LIV berth.

“There’s a lot to play for on The International Series,” Ormsby said. “It hasn’t been on my radar until right now, so you just want to play well. I’m getting on in my career and still cherish those opportunities to play in the last groups of big events. I was just trying to enjoy it out there — it was a bit of a grind in the wind.”

The 45-year-old Australian is finding form at the right time. A two-time Hong Kong Open champion (2017, 2020) and winner of the Panasonic Open India (2013) and International Series Thailand (2023), Ormsby now looks ahead to familiar territory.

“Looking forward to the next events, I can enjoy Hong Kong — it’s always been a happy hunting ground for me,” he said. “Nothing gives you more confidence than winning golf tournaments. The upcoming stretch is exciting — the Philippines is new, Hong Kong is always great, Singapore will be incredible, and Saudi’s finish is always special.”

Kieran Vincent also boosted his chances of a LIV Golf return, climbing to 12th after a T3 finish in Jakarta. The Thai trio of Poom Saksansin, Sadom Kaewkanjana and Pavit Tangkamolprasert likewise surged into the top 25 following strong top-three performances.
